14 DAY TRIAL // On Monday, Microsoft has made available for download the Microsoft Endpoint Protection for Windows Azure Customer Technology Preview version 1.1, designed to provide the option to include antimalware protection agent in each Windows Azure VM.
The new tool comes as an extension of the Windows Azure SDK through enabling AntiMalware import, thus offering antimalware configuration and deployment capabilities.
The Endpoint Protection was designed with support for Windows Azure SDK 1.7, and is not compatible with other flavors of the SDK.
The tool was released with support for Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, and Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2, Microsoft notes.
