It’s no surprise that Microsoft’s employees are trying to support charities across the United States, but it’s a bit unusual to see 43 people shaving their heads to help raise funds for St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

According to a report published by the Silicon Valley Business Journal, a total of 33 Microsofties registered to shave their heads, while another 10 joined the campaign during the fundraiser.

It appears that their efforts have been rewarded pretty fast, as they all raised more than $10,000 (€7,685) thanks to employee donations.

In case you’re wondering, this isn’t the first time when Microsoft employees join forces to help charities across the world, as they donated a total of $105 million (€79.5 million) for nonprofit organizations.

Last year alone, the Redmond-based technology giant raised a total of $1 billion (€757 million) in cash for 31,000 global and community organizations across the globe.
