Microsoft is preparing to launch a new service focused in its customer relationship management and enterprise resource planning solutions in just a couple of months, streamlining the discovering of software applications and professional services set up to extend Microsoft Dynamics. The Microsoft Dynamics Marketplace was announced at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2010, and will become available in September 2010, according to the Redmond company. Of course, at the same time, the Dynamics Marketplace will act as a medium for the marketing and distribution of Dynamics offerings from Microsoft partners.

“The Microsoft Dynamics Marketplace will help people discover applications and professional services that extend the value of Microsoft Dynamics. This online service will be a searchable and filterable catalog of applications and professional services with user evaluations and feedback capabilities to help discover the optimal solution. Visitors to the site will be able to download applications from the marketplace as well as connect directly with Microsoft partners,” Microsoft promises.

Customers running the upcoming version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM will be able to easily access offerings from the marketplace. The promise from the software giant is that Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 can be used to tap into the Microsoft Dynamics Marketplace directly. Still, the app Marketplace will be dedicated to all of the company’s CRM and ERP products, simplifying the process of extending the solutions with third-party applications and services.

“Microsoft partners will be able to showcase their applications and professional services to the worldwide Dynamics community and connect with prospects through built-in lead management capabilities. Microsoft Partner solutions already profiled in Solution Profiler will be automatically transferred to the Dynamics Marketplace,” the company added.

Also at WPC 2010, Microsoft announced the release of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 public Beta. Formerly code-named “CRM5,” Dynamics CRM 2011 will hit Beta in September.
