Microsoft has made available for download the Beta development milestone of Dynamics GP 2010. Customers already leveraging the Redmond company’s older releases of the business management solution can now grab the testing bits for the next iteration and get a taste of the evolution that version 2010 will bring to the table early. Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 Beta is available for download through PartnerSource, and of course, customers need to have an eligible account with Microsoft in order to access the release.

“The Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 Beta code has been released. This release, previously known as GP "11.0", is the largest release in Microsoft Dynamics GP history with a massive amount of development work and time going into it. It can be downloaded from PartnerSource,” revealed David Musgrave, Escalation Engineer - Microsoft Dynamics GP Microsoft Dynamics Support.

The software giant announced as early as mid-January 2010 that the Beta for Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 (code named “11”) was available in Beta. At that time, Microsoft’s Pam Misialek revealed that several customers were already test driving the Beta milestone of the largest release in Dynamics GP history and that more were planning to go live with the solution. According to Microsoft, Dynamics GP 2010 offers customers a range of improvements, marking the evolution of IDE and SanScript, as well as introducing new functions.

“We are excited to announce the newest version to the Microsoft Dynamics GP platform: Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010. Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 will focus on increasing depth and reach for core functionality, enriching integrations with the Microsoft Office system, extending external connections through Web Services, and ensuring faster Return on Investment (ROI) for customers. This release is the final data model planned for this release along with all the planned features shipping with Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010,” Musgrave added.
