Microsoft is again donating software and resources to charity, this time willing to support teens who have dropped out of school.

The company has used its YouthSpark initiative to support the National Guard Youth Foundation and thus provide teenagers with job training and skill development resources.

“As a nation, we can't afford to let one million young people drop out of school and expect to remain competitive in the global economy. We are pleased to make this donation to provide ChalleNGe participants with the access to tools and resources that will help them prepare for graduation and build the skill set necessary to compete in today's workforce,” said Curt Kolcun, vice president for Microsoft's U.S. Public Sector.

This isn’t the first time when Microsoft donates money to charity and its employees are doing the same thing every year. In 2012, for example, Microsoft’s workers alone donated $105 million (€79.5 million) to various charities in the United States.
