Now that E3 2014 is over, Microsoft is focusing once again on Xbox One owners. After delivereing the June update for the next-generation console, the Redmond-based company is now readying the July update which will bring another set of new features.

Microsoft's Major Nelson has just posted a shortlist of features that is supposed to roll out in the next couple of days to those with early access to the Xbox One system update.

These new features will be added based to users feedback gathered via Xbox Feedback portal. It appears that no less than 65,000 Xbox One owners offered their feedback in the form of 4300+ ideas.

Keep in mind that while early adopters will have access to these features in the next few days, the update will be released for general public only next month.

The first new feature that will be added to the Xbox One is called Snap Mode for Achievements. The new feature is meant to offer an easier way to track and view players achievements in the moment.

Basically, with Achievement Snap, players will be able to track their achievement progress in real time without having to leave the game they are playing. In addition, players will also be able to “Get Help” on any Achievements they are struggling with. It appears that Xbox will scan the web for the player and deliver relevant tips and strategy content right to their TV.

The next new feature that will make it to Xbox One in July is called Double-tap to Snap. Players will be able to double-tap the button on their controller to bring up Snap Center, and from there they where can launch Achievements or any other snap-able app, without having to leave the game.

If the player already has a snap-able application, they will only need to double-tap quickly to switch between their game and the snapped app.

Next in line, choice of Spoken Language. According to Microsoft Xbox One owners located in New Zealand, Ireland and Austria will be able to select voice control using the English or German voice models from other countries.

Moreover, expats in an English-speaking country, will too be able to choose any of the other English language models that fit them.

With the Future Digital Bundles and Compilation Discs publishers will have options for great digital bundle and disc compilation offerings in the future. Microsoft is currently testing this feature in order to bring Xbox One owners more flexible combinations of game titles and game content.

Last but not least, “Like” Game DVR clips is another new feature that should be added to Xbox One consoles next month. With this new feature Xbox One owners will be able to “Like” all their favorite Game DVR clips as well as activity feed items in SmartGlass.
