Delivering a similar service to Yahoo Answers and Answerbag, Microsoft has debuted Windows Live QnA into public Beta stage. The QnA comes to complement the community structured around
the Redmond Company's windows Live Spaces. "Windows Live QnA connects you to the best answers from the right people," promises Microsoft on the QnA Website.
The social search initiative aims to center the Windows Live Spaces community input with the promise to turn members into Superstars. The service builds a database of the questions, answers and also of the members' performance. Users are presented with the possibility of posing various queries and also metatagging the questions with identifiable subjects.
The community may provide answers within a four day period and also vote the most comprehensive answers. Windows Live QnA will give the members email notifications for every one of their questions that is being answered. Additionally, Microsoft has made available an alternative to the strict confines of the QnA format, permitting its members to engage in freewheeling dialog on the QnA Cafe discussion board.
