In case you're one of those Latino music fans out there, this is your chance to get trendier than anytime before: buy a Microsoft limited-edition 30GB Zune player developed in collaboration with Latin Grammy-nominated artists Wisin y Yandel. 'What's so special about it?' you may ask. It's simple: the Redmond-based company partnered with Wisin y Yandel, Machete Music and Wal-Mart Stores Inc. to build a special Zune player which targets the Latino music lovers with several goodies. First, there's the 30GB storage size which might fulfill all the users' requirements. Then, it's the new Wisin y Yandel album, "Wisin vs. Yandel: Los Extraterrestres" which is copied on the player by default.

"It was great working with the Zune team to create this custom device and come up with cool ways to promote our new album via their digital music platform," said Edgar Andino, Wisin y Yandel's manager. "Connecting with fans digitally is really where music is going, and we're psyched to have this opportunity."

The attractive thing is that the new music album is exclusively delivered with Zune even it wasn't officially rolled out on the market yet. Moreover, the software giant took the decision to offer an exclusive track, concert videos, photos and several other clips with Wisin y Yandel.

"Wisin y Yandel are currently one the biggest Latin groups out there, so we are excited to have them customize a Zune device and offer exclusive content to their fans," said Javier Farfan, multicultural marketing manager for Zune at Microsoft. "Working together like this has helped us to connect Latino music artists with their fans."

Microsoft said the limited-edition Zune player will go on sale on October 29, the interested consumers being able to buy it for $199 from any Wal-Mart retailer.
