Something that was a wet dream for Xbox fans, is finally happening

It's official boys and girls, Microsoft finally announces their new, black, mysterious and elusive Xbox 360 Elite. For those who haven't caught up with the details and the specs, here they are so you know what Microsoft is preparing to throw hungry gamers.

-120 gig hard drive (external/accessory for the Xbox 360 Elite); -the new console is HDMI enabled and has IPTV properties; -black case, black wireless controller and XBLA headset; -it was rumored that the full bundle would include a data cable as well, for old Xbox 360 users to transfer games, saves and other files that they don't want to lose, though I didn't see it in the photo gallery; -it is also said that the machine will have 65 nm chips integrated, thus making it a cheaper system (considering its capabilities) and will probably also have a lower heating point.

Up until today, the Xbox 360 Elite was something of a wet dream for Xbox fans? but not anymore. Microsoft still has to announce a release date and probably some more details regarding their new system, but real Elite photos are quite satisfying for the moment.

There were a lot of rumors revolving around this machine's existence, name, specs, and even launch date and rumors that last for months usually lose credibility. That's generally the case with games but it translates pretty well to consoles too. Yet, the Elite is one of those rumors that last long and eventually come true, like ancient prophecies.
