As I’ve already told you several times before, Microsoft delivered a botched update on Patch Tuesday, breaking down several Windows 7 computers across the world.

The company has now issued an updated statement on the problem, saying that it’s indeed aware of the glitches, so more information should be provided in the coming days.

“Some users may experience issues with certain programs after they install security update 2859537. In some cases the programs may not successfully start. We are also aware of limited reports that certain users may encounter difficulties restarting their computers after applying this security update,” the company said.

“Microsoft is researching this problem and will post more information in this article when the information becomes available.”

According to the latest reports, the botched update is causing BSODs on every single computer reboot on some computers, so users’ only choice at this point is to completely remove the update.
