Microsoft Codename Data Explorer Discover Video

Microsoft has yet to give green light to the testing program for codename Data Explorer, but the company released a new video teasing the capabilities of the Windows Azure service.

Hosted under SQL Azure Labs, Microsoft codename Data Explorer comes with the promise of allowing customers to gain new insights from their data.

The service is designed to simplify the discovery of relevant information, even when users combine disparate and otherwise incompatible sources.

At the same time, Data Explorer makes it easier to collaborate as well as to publish results and share them with the world.

Microsoft codename Data Explorer is not available for testing just yet. But I’m hearing that the team behind it is not all that far from allowing the first early adopters to take the service out for a spin.
