Microsoft’s very own Outlook.com email service which last year officially replaced Hotmail turned one today, so Redmond has decided to celebrate this special moment by offering prizes to those already using it.

The company is giving away so-called “Outlook.com celebration packages” and while nobody knows for sure what’s included in these, all those posting on Twitter with the #OutlookTurnsOne hashtag are automatically registered for the contest.

“One year ago today, Outlook.com came out of preview and rolled out to people worldwide. It’s been a great year. We’ve learned a lot, heard great feedback from customers and continue to work every day to deliver the most personal and productive email service. We believe more than ever that Outlook.com is the best email choice for people around the world,” Microsoft said.

Outlook.com is Microsoft’s one and only email platform after the popular Hotmail got retired last year and all users were automatically transferred to this new solution.
