Every year, Microsoft celebrates partners that are critical to its business. And of course that the 2007 Microsoft Vendor Program (MSVP) Excellence Awards was associated with the Redmond company's main cash cows. Microsoft's flagship products made available for the general consumers in January 2007, Windows Vista and the Office 2007 System, were connected to the service award designed to applaud LCJ EEIG.

"A leading provider of localization solutions, LCJ recently delivered localized language versions of the 2007 Microsoft Office system and the Windows Vista operating system. Despite an unplanned increase in scope that drove translation capacity requirements to a peak, LCJ delivered content on time and met high-quality standards. Flexible scheduling and resource management were critical to LCJ's success, along with the company's longstanding commitment to customer satisfaction," Microsoft revealed.

A total of six top Microsoft vendors, including LCJ, received Annual Excellence Awards: Grubb & Ellis Management Services, MV Transportation, HP, Infineon Technologies AG and Kelly Services. Microsoft revealed that the six winners were selected from no less than 15,000 partners in the United States. "Selecting the MSVP Award winners is always a challenge, and this year proved no exception," said Tim McBride, general manager and chief procurement officer at Microsoft. "It's my privilege to say that the six vendors we recognize today truly stand out, and the exceptional service they deliver is invaluable to our company and our customers."

This was the sixth edition of the MSVP Annual Vendor Summit, an initiative debuted in 2002. Value, quality, flexibility, innovation, security and privacy are among the criteria of selection for the companies included among the Microsoft vendors. Still, in the end, it all comes down to the vendors that deliver "outstanding service and results" to the Redmond company. Grubb & Ellis Management Services received the Vendor of the Year Award; MV Transportation the Quality Award; Hewlett-Packard the Technology Award; Infineon Technologies the Value Award and Kelly Services the Diversity Award.
