Ballmer got all emotional in a meeting with employees

Microsoft’s CEO Steve Ballmer will soon leave the company, but in the time left at the helm of the company he keeps setting up meetings with employees to discuss Redmond’s plans.

AllThingsD writes that Ballmer often gets emotional during all these meetings and in one particular event, he even started crying acknowledging that he would soon leave the company.

While seeing Ballmer crying is not a new thing, it’s still important to note that Ballmer no longer takes the stage during events where Microsoft is holding a keynote, leaving some other key executives to talk about the company’s next products in a wide variety of industry sectors.

Satya Nadella, for example, has recently traveled to France to take part to a cloud event, explaining that Microsoft’s focus on cloud-based services would continue in the coming years. Nadella, head of the cloud business at Microsoft, is one of the potential replacements for Steve Ballmer.
