Nadella is expected to talk about the consumer approach of the company with the new operating system

Microsoft's CEO Satya Nadella will attend the press conference that Microsoft will be holding tomorrow at its headquarters in Redmond to discuss its Windows 10 improvements for consumers.

Specifically hosted to detail the new consumer approach of the operating system, the event is also likely to witness the introduction of a new Technical Preview build for Windows Insiders, as well as the very first testing version of Windows Phone 10, a new mobile operating system that could see daylight later this year as well.

Satya Nadella is expected to take the stage at the end of the conference to deliver a keynote that would reiterate the company's intention to work closer with customers and develop products based on their feedback, as well as to point out that Windows 10 is an operating system developed to address all user categories on all devices.

Terry Myerson and Joe Belfiore will lead the event

In addition to Satya Nadella, Terry Myerson, head of the Operating Systems Group, and Joe Belfiore, corporate vice president, Operating Systems Group at Microsoft, will take the stage from the very beginning to discuss Windows 10 and present some of the improvements it brings on both desktops and smartphones.

Belfiore's keynote is likely to be more focused on smartphones, so he could also present the new Windows Phone 10 along with details about a new version of Office for devices running Microsoft's mobile operating system.

Last but not least, head of the Xbox division Phil Spencer will also discuss the impact that Windows 10 has on gaming and will present several new enhancements that the new operating system brings in regards to playing games on the PC.

Shortly after the event, Microsoft will also ship a new Technical Preview build for Windows Insiders that would allow them to try out most of the features presented by the company's executives, as well as an early build of Windows Phone 10, again part of an Insider program.

The event will kick off at 9.00 PT (19:00 UTC+2) and will be also be live streamed online.
