Windows Phone 8 is only a few weeks away from becoming officially available for purchase on a nice series of new devices, and Microsoft is once again inviting users to try out its mobile OS to get acquainted with it.

Those who haven’t had the chance to play with the Windows Phone platform before can now do so courtesy of the Windows Phone Interactive Demo available on this page on Microsoft’s website.

The demo was made available last year for people to get to know the platform better, and should prove a nice option for those who are considering switching to it, but don’t know exactly what it has to offer.

Of course, it won’t offer the same experience as an actual Windows Phone handset would, but it will still provide users with the possibility to learn more on its features, apps, email capabilities and the like.
