Redmond is giving Britons the chance to discover the new Surface in style

Microsoft has indeed launched the second-generation Surface tablet worldwide, so the company is now betting big on its advertising campaign for the device.

Redmond has thus created a gigantic, fully-working and totally real Surface tablet in Trafalgar Square, London, just to give Britons the opportunity to find out the capabilities of the new device in style.

The gigantic Surface tablet comes with a 383-inch screen and features a purple Type Cover 2 that allows Londoners to simply jump on its keys to write control the device. Fully working USB and micro HDMI ports are also included on the device that is 27 foot (8.2 meters) wide and 17 foot (5.1 meters) high, according to The Verge.

Of course, Microsoft workers are providing bystanders with information on the second-generation tablet, while also demoing the real Surface Pro 2 that’s already up for grabs in 21 countries worldwide.
