14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has kicked off its Black Friday deal campaign earlier today, but it turns out that the company has included several Surface RT models in the promo.
The Surface RT 64 GB is available for only $399 (€293), down from the original price of $449 (€330) and can be purchased right now from the company’s online store.
At the same time, a 64 GB version of the Surface with a black Touch Cover is available for $449, but Microsoft warns that all those who want to take advantage of the offer should hurry up, as quantities are limited.
The Surface RT was officially launched in October 2012, together with Windows 8, and runs Windows RT (which can be updated to Windows RT 8.1). The tablet comes with several connectivity options, including USB ports and Bluetooth support.
A revamped model was launched last month, this time featuring upgraded hardware, such as an NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor specifically optimized for better performance and longer battery life.
