Microsoft has rolled out a new product comparison to show everyone that the Surface is a much better product than its rivals, this time bashing the recently-released iPad Air.

In just a few words, the software giant claims that the Surface is the perfect companion in the kitchen, as the built-in iPad Air features that could help you read a recipe while cooking aren’t so advanced as those offered to Surface buyers.

For example, the Surface comes with a new Food and Drink app that displays recipes and supports hands free mode, while the iPad Air only packs voice recognition that requires a quiet room to work properly.

“Whether you’re cooking your favorite holiday meal or letting your kids play on Surface on their own user account while you’re traveling, Surface has been created to be the one device for everything in your life,” Microsoft said.

The second-generation Surface was officially launched last month and comes with upgraded hardware for both the RT and the Pro models. The new devices are all running Windows 8.1 in either RT or Pro form.
