Microsoft Applauds the Evolution of BizTalk Server 2006 R2

BizTalk Server is a Microsoft solution designed to help with the management of systems and process, from the perspective of integration and automation in the context of global supply chains. Sibos 2007 is the stage where the Redmond company detailed the evolution of BizTalk Server 2006 R2 in relation to SWIFT. Microsoft not only applauded the fact that the SWIFTReady Gold Financial Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) 2007 label was awarded again to the BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT, but also that the accelerator will be made available from now on, in the box with Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2.

"BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT has been a significant part of our discussions at Sibos for more than five years now, and it is a credit to the continual development of new and additional features that it has again received the SWIFTReady Gold Financial EAI Label", said David Vander, managing director of Banking, Worldwide Financial Services, Microsoft. "SWIFT continually raises the bar for companies looking to be certified with this label, and the addition of ISO 20022 standards to this year's requirements is indicative of multiple industries moving further toward leveraging standardized business flows in the payments area."

Gottfried Leibbrandt, head of Markets, SWIFT, opined that BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT is the way corporations can bridge financial messaging technologies with business process management solutions. Leibbrandt added that SWIFT will continue its current collaboration with the Redmond company in order to ensure that corporate environments will have at their disposal payment products focused on streamlining and automating financial transactions and the adjacent activities. Microsoft will begin offering BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT together with BizTalk Server 2006 R2 immediately.
