Microsoft has just announced that it would release a total of seven bulletins on this month’s Patch Tuesday cycle, six of which are rated as critical.

The company will fix vulnerabilities in Windows and Internet Explorer, but as usual, no specifics have been provided in order to prevent hackers from exploiting the flaws.

The other bulletin is rated as important, while two of the critical updates will require users to reboot their computers after deploying the patches.

Of course, all fixes will be delivered through the integrated Windows Update, so no user interaction is required.

Earlier this week, the software giant has released the first updates for the newly-released Windows 8.1 Preview, as the company has tried to repair some of the bugs reported by users after the public launch on June 26.
