If you’re in the market for a new laptop and you’re planning to take full advantage of the back-to-school offers that companies are kicking off these days, just hold in there because Microsoft is about to start a new promo in just a couple of days.

The Acer Aspire E15, running the full version of Windows 8.1, will be available this Friday for only $199 (€150), down from the current price of $249 (€180).

The price cut will be available on Microsoft’s online store exclusively and will run for just one day, as long as supplies last, so it’s pretty clear that you’ll have to hurry up if you really want to purchase it.

The Acer Aspire E15 comes with a 15.6-inch display with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels, 4 GB of RAM and 500 GB of storage space. It runs the 64-bit version of Windows 8.1 with Bing and also integrates Intel HD graphics, 1 USB 3.0 port, HDMI support, and Wi-Fi support with MIracast enabled.

The Intel Celeron N2830 runs at 2.16 GHz, but the turbo mode pushes it to 2.41 GHz, which Microsoft says should be enough to make the most of the modern operating system and perform your daily tasks without starring at the screen and waiting for your apps to load too much time.
