Patch Tuesday will take place this month on October 8, so Microsoft has just announced that it would release a total of eight security bulletins aimed at fixing vulnerabilities in several products across its lineup.

Four of these updates are rated as “Critical” and are supposed to fix flaws in Internet Explorer, .NET Framework, and Windows, with all versions of the operating system to be patched.

As usual, Redmond hasn’t provided too many details on the vulnerabilities to be addressed this Patch Tuesday, as it wants users to stay on the safe side until all updates go live.

On the other hand, let’s just hope that Microsoft pays much more attention to the bulletins they plan to release and security teams will actually try out the patches first and only then make them public. Users are getting tired with so many botched updates lately.
