The Surface Pro 3 is Microsoft's latest tablet and will hit the market sometime next month or even in August depending on the model your choose, but the company hasn't forgotten the previous models which are still capable of providing a similar experience.

As a result, Redmond today rolled out a new discount for those living in the United Kingdom and planning to buy a Surface Pro 2, with all models now available with either a £140 ($235 / €172) or £150 ($250 / €185) price cut.

The 64 GB version of the Surface Pro 2 now costs £569 ($955 / £700), while the 512 GB is available for £1,289 ($2,160 / €1,590), both of which are benefiting from the £150 discount.

On the other hand, the 128 GB and 256 GB versions are getting a £140 price cut and now cost £659 ($1,110 / €810) and £899 ($1,510 / $1,110) respectively.

Even though it's not the latest version of the tablet, the Surface Pro 2 features the same 10.6-inch display as its predecessors, as well as an Intel i5 processor and 4 or 8 GB of RAM, depending on the version you choose. Of course, all the other connectivity options are still there, so you also get a USB 3.0 port, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a mini display port.
