Microsoft Ad Shows Another Face of the Surface RT – Video

The Surface RT has been described as a half tablet, half laptop device, as it boasts the necessary features to tackle two different worlds at the same time.

That’s also the goal of this new official commercial that brings the productivity features of the Surface RT in the spotlight. Microsoft’s first tablet in history can also run the Office productivity suite, including the popular Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote applications.

In addition, Microsoft is selling the device with a free copy of Office 2013, in an attempt not only to emphasize that the Surface RT can be more than a tablet, but also to steal some users from Apple’s portfolio.

Analysts, however, think that Microsoft’s device is off to a very weak start in terms of sales, but the company refuses to comment on these unofficial sales figures for the time being.
