Microsoft is gearing up to release a touch Natural User Interface (NUI) flavor of the Arc Mouse, complete with Blue Track technology and Touch-Scroll functionality.

The Redmond company offered the first details on the new Arc Touch Mouse via the Twitter account of Microsoft hardware at the start of this month.

Of course, confirmation that the software giant was offering a sneak peek at the Arc Touch Mouse and not another product came from third party sources, and not from Microsoft.

Today, the first pictures and details of the next iteration of the Arc Touch Mouse have been made available in the wild.

German retailer Notebooksbilliger has published a range of images featuring the upcoming Arc Touch Mouse, as well as the information accompanying the product.

As you can see, there are a variety of pictures at the bottom of this article, and by all means, feast your eyes on the Arc Touch Mouse.

Here are the details related to the product, from Notebooksbilliger (via Google Translate):

“ARC Touch - High-Tech & Design Stunning design meets high mobility and high-tech at its finest: the Arc Mouse combines the latest touch-sensing by Blue Track groundbreaking touch scrolling and secure 2.4 GHz wireless technology.

Design & functionality

- Wireless freedom with reliable 2.4 GHz wireless technology

- Battery level indication and ultra-compact Nano-transceiver that disappears when not in use in the battery compartment

- Advanced Blue Track Technology for maximum precision on virtually any surface

- New Touch-Scroll function: Cross out easily with the finger tip over the large area sensor to quickly scroll through long documents or Web sites

- Symmetrical housing for right-and left-handed with a stylish mix of metal, glossy surfaces and comfortable rubberized palm rest.”

Since I came across the Microsoft Arc Touch mouse, Notebooksbilliger has taken down the product altogether, so the original page is no longer available. According to the German retailer, the Arc Touch mouse will cost 69.99 Euros.
