The smartphone is available for purchase for Rs 6,999

Micromax has finally announced the Unite 3 Q372, the same smartphone that went on sale via Infibeam earlier this month. This time, however, customers will have to pay Rs 6,999 ($110 / €100) upfront in order to get it.

We previously reported that Infibeam is selling the Micromax Unite 3 Q370 for 6,569 ($103 / €95), which isn't too big of a difference.

This time Micromax has partnered with Vodafone, so customers who purchase the Unite 3 Q372 will also receive 500MB of free data per month for 2 months, fonearena reports.

It's also worth mentioning that Micromax Unite 3 Q372 is available in both Blue and White colors.

The smartphone comes with the new Unite Messaging Service, which is the result of the collaboration between Micromax and Firstouch. It allow users to translate and transliterate with patented “Swipe” feature, thus enabling communication in your language of choice.

Provides translation in 10 regional languages

In this regard, Micromax Unite 3 Q372 comes pre-loaded with no less than 10 regional languages, including Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Oriya, Bengali and Marathi.

Moving on to specs, the Unite 3 sports a disappointing 4.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

In addition, the smartphone is equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

There's also an 8-megapixel camera on the back, which features LED flash and video recording, as well as secondary 2-megapixel camera in the front for video calls and selfies.

The smartphone offers dual-SIM support and is powered by a 2,000 mAh battery. The United 3 is running Android 5.0 Lollipop and provides a wide range of connectivity options, including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with AGPS, 3.5mm audio jack and microUSB 2.0.
