One of the largest Indian mobile handset manufacturer, Micromax has recently announced the Q80 dual-SIM phone with Push Email service.

The phone is now available for purchase via Micromax stores and authorized resellers for only Rs. 4,999 (about $110).

Micromax is one of the most important handset manufacturers on the Indian market and managed to grab a big chunk of Nokia's market share lately.

Although, Indian handset makers are focusing on cheap devices, Micromax has also launched a few Android smartphones, in an attempt to eat as much market share as possible from other more important brands as Samsung and HTC.

Micromax Q80 is a simple dual-SIM feature-phone that comes with its own push email service called ezmail.

In addition to the original email service, the phone's strong points are the 3G connectivity, the full QWERTY keyboard, as well as the secondary camera for video calling.

Furthermore, the Q80 comes with a small 2.4 inch TFT QVGA display with 320 x 240 pixels resolution and a full portrait QWERTY keypad and optical trackpad.

Even though the phone does not go below the 10mm thickness milestone, it is still a slim bar phone at only 13mm, being pretty light as well(113g battery included).

It also sports a 3-megapixel rear camera with face and smile detection, as well as a secondary VGA 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera.

The phone seems to be easy to handle when it comes to emails thanks to the dedicated shortcut key that quickly opens the instant messaging service.

There are only 68 MB of internal memory inside the Q80, but users can expand the amount of storage up to 8GB through the external microSD card slot.

Other interesting highlights of the phone include: FM Radio, Music player, Video player, Video recorder, as well as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The phone's standard 1200 mAh Li-Ion battery should provide users with up to 5 hours of talk time or up to 130 hours of standby time.
