It looks like Micromax plans to launch its next flagship Android smartphone, the Canvas Turbo within the next few days.

We reported last week on Micromax's marketing stunt, as the Indian company hired Hollywood superstar Hugh Jackman as brand ambassador.

Micromax Canvas Turbo has already been confirmed by the Indian company, but no additional details regarding the phone's specs sheet have been unveiled yet.

However, the folks over at MMXNewscaster managed to get their hands on a sketch that shows the key features of the Micromax Canvas Turbo.

There's also a small press render that confirms that the flagship smartphone will boast a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.

According to the leaked sketch, the Canvas Turbo will offer dual-SIM support, as the smartphone features two microSIM slots on the left side.

Another strong point of the phone is the 5-inch full HD (1080p) capacitive touchscreen display. On the front, the Canvas Turbo sports an enhanced 5-megapixel secondary camera for video recording and video calls.

The 3.5mm audio jack has been placed on the bottom side of the smartphone instead of the top side, so users will have to keep it upside down in their pockets while listening to the music via headphones.

Other than that, there are no details confirmed on phone's hardware configuration, but rumors suggest that Micromax Canvas Turbo will be equipped with a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor and 1GB of RAM.

It's unclear which version of Android will be pre-loaded on the smartphone, but we can safely assume that Micromax will choose either 4.2 or 4.3.

Obviously, the phone will come with various connectivity features, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and GPS with A-GPS support. There's no word on availability and pricing options yet, but stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
