The smartphone is said to pack a 1.5 GHz quad-core CPU, 5-inch display

Android fans in India rejoice, as Micromax seems to have another high-end smartphone in development. It looks like Canvas Turbo A250 won’t be the only interesting handset that the Indian company will launch in the coming weeks.

MMXNewscaster has just leaked the first press render of the so-called Micromax Canvas Magnus smartphone, along with its main specs.

According to the cited source, the Canvas Magnus is equipped with a powerful 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution, as well as 1GB of RAM.

The unannounced smartphone is also said to sport a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 4GB of internal memory and a 2000 mAh Li-Ion battery.

The Canvas Magnus A117 will ship with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
