Indian company Karbonn recently launched another affordable Android smartphone, the A15+ and now another OEM plans to release a similar device, Micromax.

However, Micromax's smartphone is slightly better when it comes to hardware configuration. The Canvas Juice A77 will soon be available on the market for just Rs 7,999 outright, which is about $125 or €95.

The smartphone ships with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and packs a decent 1.3 GHz dual-core processor.

Furthermore, the Canvas Juice A77 sports a large 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that support 854 x 480 pixels resolution.

It also offers dual-SIM (GSM / GSM) support, as well as 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory that can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

On the back, Micromax's Android phone features a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while in the front there's a secondary VGA camera for video calls.

Last but not least, the device is said to pack 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, along with FM Radio, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm audio jack and a high-capacity 3000 mAh Li-Ion battery which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.

For those wondering how big the Micromax Canvas Juice A77 is considering the fact that it comes with a large 5-inch display, fonearena reports the smartphone measures 150.5 x 76.2 x 10.2 mm and weighs around 100g (battery included).

The affordable dual-SIM Android smartphone will only be available in white color and is expected to be officially introduced in India within the next few days.

Keep in mind that while Micromax Canvas Juice A77 has already been listed at several major retailers across the country, the smartphone has yet to arrive in stock, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
