The handset packs a 5-inch screen, 1.3GHz processor

Mobile phone users in India interested in the purchase of a new, affordable smartphone can now place an order for the recently leaked Micromax Canvas Juice A77.

The handset emerged online only a few days ago, and is already available for purchase through online retailers HomeShop18 and Infibeam, with a price tag of Rs. 7,999 ($128/€95) attached to it.

As fonearena notes, the device is listed as available in White, with a large 5-inch touchscreen display that can deliver an 854 x 480 pixels resolution, and is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor.

Canvas Juice A77’s specifications aren’t that impressive, but the phone should still appear as a great option to those looking for a budget phone that can deliver a bit of performance.

To ensure that this indeed happens, Micromax packed the mobile phone with 1GB of RAM, as well as with 4GB of internal memory, and with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.

Furthermore, the handset features a 5-megapixel camera on the back, with LED flash and support for 720p video recording, as well as a 0.3MP front camera for making video calls.

The specifications list of the new mobile phone also includes support for 3G HSDPA:21Mbps networks, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity capabilities, and built-in GPS receiver with aGPS.

Additionally, Canvas Juice A77 sports a 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio with recording inside its 150.5 76.2 10.2 mm body that weighs 100.5 grams.

The smartphone runs under Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. Users who purchase it will also enjoy the option to place two SIM cards inside it at the same time.

We should also note that the new Micromax Canvas Juice A77 is powered by a 3000mAh battery said to be able to deliver up to 10 hours of talk time, or up to 282 hours of standby time.
