One of the latest Micromax smartphones to have emerged online is the Canvas Blaze MT500, which can now be seen on ShopClues’s website with a price tag of Rs. 11,999 ($193/€140) attached to it.

The new device arrives on the market with support for two SIM cards at the same time, but is one of the few handsets out there to pack CDMA+GSM connectivity capabilities.

All in all, the new mobile phone should prove an appealing handset, though its specs list confirms that it will be launched as an entry-level device.

As fonearena notes, the new Micromax Canvas Blaze MT500 features a design that resembles that of Canvas 4. It is expected to be launched in White, with a Silver stripe on the side.

Micromax has yet to officially announce the new smartphone, though it might not be too long before it does that, given that retailers are already listing it.

The new Canvas Blaze MT500 will arrive on shelves with a 5-inch touchscreen display, as well as with a 1GHz dual-core processor packed inside.

Furthermore, the handset is expected to feature 768MB of RAM, as well as a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.

On the back, it will sport an 8-megapixel camera with auto focus and flash, complemented by a front VGA camera for making video calls while on the go.

Micromax Canvas Blaze MT500 is also listed with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as with a built-in GPS receiver. Moreover, it comes with Gravity, Light, and Proximity sensors.

The smartphone is powered by an 1850 mAh battery that should be able to deliver up to 5 hours of talk time, or up to 120 hours of standby time. It runs under the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
