Not even a week goes by without Indian company Micromax launching another smartphone on the market, or at least announcing one.

This time we have “leaked” Micromax smartphone that has just popped up on the company's official website. This means that we have yet to learn when exactly it will be available for purchase and for how much. Still, judging from its specs, this will be an under $100 smartphone.

Dubbed Micromax Bolt Q335, the handset doesn't stand out in terms of design, so you can remove that from the list of strong points.

In fact, the only selling point of the Q335 might be the price if Micromax makes it very affordable. Otherwise, it might not sell at all since it doesn't offer anything out of the ordinary.

The Bolt Q335 is quite unimpressive when it comes to specs

Moving on to actual specs, Micromax Bolt Q335 is powered by Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, which isn't surprising considering the phone's hardware. Don't hope for any OS updates.

On the inside, the Q335 is equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor, only 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal memory.

The smartphone also packs microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB), as well as dual-SIM support. Other connectivity options confirmed for Micromax Bolt Q335 include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5mm audio jack.

The smartphone also features a 5-megapixel camera on the back with fixed-focus, LED flash and video recording, as well as a secondary 2-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Last but not least, Micromax Bolt Q335 drains energy from a 1,650 mAh battery and sports a 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 854 pixels resolution.

The Q335 comes pre-loaded with several apps and games, including Askme, Chaatz, Clean Master, Dr. Safety, Hotstar, NewsHunt, Snapdeal, Opera max, Mannons and others.
