The handset will pack a 4.5-inch screen, 1GHz processor

Micromax is reportedly getting ready for the launch of a new entry-level smartphone, one that should hit shelves under the name of Micromax Bolt A66, and that has already been spotted online.

The mobile phone should hit the market with a 4.5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 854 x 480 pixels resolution, as well as with a 1GHz single-core processor inside, a tweet from MMXNewscaster reads.

Moreover, it is rumored to feature 512MB of RAM, as well as 165 MB of internal storage. A microSD memory card slot will allow users to expand the available memory.

On the back, the phone will pack a 2MP camera, paired with a VGA camera on the front, and a 1500 mAh battery inside.

Rumor has it that Micromax would plan on making the new smartphone available with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean on top right from the beginning, priced at Rs. 5,999 ($97/€71).
