The smartphone will ship with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean onboard

Indian company Micromax plans to launch another budget-friendly Android smartphone, the Bolt A57. Spotted recently on the company’s website, the handset is expected to go on sale in the coming days for around Rs 5,500 ($90 / €65) outright.

As AndroidOS points out, Micromax Bolt A58 is an entry-level smartphone that has been confirmed to run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.

The handset will be equipped with a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek processor, 512MB of RAM and 512MB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

It will also come with dual-SIM support, 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display, 2-megapixel rear-facing camera and 1200 mAh Li-Ion battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
