The budget-friendly Micromax A54 Smarty 3.5 has just hit shelves in India. Android enthusiasts who are looking for an affordable device can give this entry-level smartphone a try.
AndroidOS reports that the A54 is now available for purchase via Infibeam for only Rs 4,659 outright, which is about $85 or €65. Check it out

The smartphone ships with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread operating system out of the box and packs a 1 GHz single-core Qualcomm 7225AA processor, which is complemented by 256MB of RAM.
Micromax A54 Smarty 3.5 embeds only 130MB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.
It also sports a 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display, a 3-megapixel rear camera with fixed focus and a 1300 mAh Li-Ion battery.
Keep in mind that A54 Smarty 3.5 supports dual-SIM capability, as well as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity.
