14 DAY TRIAL // One of the most anticipated Indian Android handsets these month is the recently unveiled Micromax A116 Canvas HD.
Announced less than three weeks ago, Micromax's A116 Canvas HD phablet has just been confirmed to arrive on February 14.
As AndroidOS points out, the smartphone will be priced under Rs 15,000 ($280/€210), though we're still waiting for the company's final confirmation.
The device will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and will pack a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor inside.
Another strong point of the smartphone is the vibrant 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.
In addition, Micromax A116 Canvas HD sports an 8-megapixel rear camera, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and dual-SIM capability. There's also a front facing camera for video calls and a high-capacity 2100 mAh Li-Ion battery.
