Priced at 185 USD (145 EUR) and 240 USD (185 EUR), respectively

Even though Micromax A110 Superfone Canvas 2 went on sale in India last week, the handset maker officially launched the smartphone today.

Along with the A110 Superfone Canvas 2, Micromax also announced the immediate availability of another Android smartphone, the A90S Superfone Pixel.

Android enthusiasts can purchase the A110 Superfone Canvas 2 for only Rs 9,990 (185 USD or 145 EUR) or the A90S Superfone Pixel for Rs 12,990 (240 USD or 185 EUR) outright.

Both smartphones are now available for purchase via leading retailers across the country. Customers will be able to choose any of the two color options available: Black and White.

As expected, Micromax A110 Superfone Canvas 2 and A90S Superfone Pixel offer dual-SIM capability and are powered by Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. No word on Jelly Bean updates for any of the two devices yet, but we’ll keep an eye out on this one.

Each Android phone is equipped with dual-core processors clocked at 1GHz, which are complemented by 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory.

MicroSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB) are included as well. The two Micromax smartphones sport different sized displays.

Micromax A110 Superfone Canvas 2 boasts a huge 5-inch IPS TFT capacitive touchscreen display with supports for 480 x 854 pixels resolution, while the A90S Superfone Pixel features a smaller 4.3-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with support for 800 x 480 pixels resolution.

It is also worth mentioning that both Android phones come with dual-cameras, 8-megapixel rear photo snapper and VGA front-facing camera for video calls.

Furthermore, Micromax A90S Superfone Pixel drains energy from a 1600 mAh Li-Ion battery, which should provide up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 174 hours of standby, whereas the A110 Superfone Canvas 2 is powered by a high-capacity 2000 mAh Li-Ion battery rated by the manufacturer for up to 5 hours of talk time and 180 hours of standby time.
