It's a given fact that rockers don't make good husbands and boyfriends, simply because women tend to throw themselves at the singers, and it takes a very strong man to resist this greatest temptation. And when the rocker is named Mick Jagger, frontman to the Rolling Stones, there's bound to be a lot of women interested in him.

Radar is claiming that Mick's brunette who was spotted hanging out with him on the balcony of a Swiss hotel one early morning, affectionately nuzzling the back of his neck, is actually an older flame. The website reports that Jagger had begun dating her even before L'Wren Scott, his official girlfriend, committed suicide on March 17 for mysterious reasons.

The Daily Mail has gone to the trouble of identifying the much younger lover as Melanie Hamrick, who is a mere 27 to Jagger's 71 years old. The same investigation has revealed that she's a dancer based in New York.

It seems that Melanie and Mick had met up for the first time backstage at a Rolling Stones concert in Tokyo, on March 6, just two weeks before L'Wren Scott committed suicide in her Manhattan apartment. She was 49, and reports indicated at the time that she was depressed due to financial troubles but also because Mick had commitment issues.

Mick Jagger's spokesperson insists that the two did meet up when Mick was still with L'Wren but that their relationship took on an intimate twist only after she died. That's not exactly better, but if we're to believe this version, Melanie only fell for Mick when they met up in Switzerland at the beginning of the month.

After the photos of the loving couple hanging out on the balcony of his hotel penthouse emerged in the press, L'Wren's sister pointed a blaming finger at the singer, telling the press that he was very much to blame for her suicide.

“And people wonder why L’Wren was so depressed? These pictures make me really wonder what Mick is really thinking and feeling,” sister Jan Shane said at the time in outrage. This is the same sister that had a bitter feud with the rocker at the time of L'Wren's death over her final resting place.

Shane wanted L'Wren to be buried with her parents, on the family plot back in Utah. However, Mick wanted to bury her in Los Angeles and finally the rocker got his way by negotiating with L'Wren's brother, Randall, who was much closer to his famous sister during her life, acting as her financial adviser.

This new romance brings to attention the reason why L'Wren committed suicide, and even if the two can't be connected, it still manages to lift eyebrows because Mick seems to have gotten over the matter fairly quickly.
