Michelle Pfeiffer Never to be Paul Rudd's Woman

Michelle Pfeiffer and Paul Rudd will co-star in the romantic comedy "I Could Never Be Your Woman" an indie project shooting in London, which will be released next year, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The movie, directed by Amy Heckerline and financed by Bauer Martinez, tells the story of a successful career woman who has trouble with her love life.

The rights for this film were previously held by Paramount Pictures, but it seems that they have been transferred to Disney.



"Cat Woman" Michelle Pfeiffer, 47, portrays a mother who falls for a younger man (played by Paul Rudd), while her daughter (newcomer Saoirse Ronan) falls in love for the first time.

The cast includes Tracey Ullman (as Mother Nature, who meddles in their fates), Fred Willard and Stacey Dash, who has worked with heckerling and Rudd for the 1995 hit "Clueless".

Paul Rudd, 36, ("Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" and "The Shape of Things.") appears in the comedy "The 40-Year-Old Virgin," which will be released on August 19.
