Michael Moore was sued by the brother of Oklahoma City bombing conspirator Terry Nichols, who claims that Moore "offered half-truths or total untruths" to accuse Terry Nichols of being an accomplice in the April 1995 bombing in Oklahoma City, when 165 people died.
Michael Moore's lawyer urged the judge to dismiss a libel lawsuit against James Nichols, arguing that Moore only reported the truth and his constitutionally protected opinion in the 2002 film ''Bowling for Columbine.''
Timothy McVeigh, the head of the operation was executed in 2001, while Terry Nichols is serving two life sentences without parole.
