Fahrenheit 9/11 director Michael Moore hates the attitude of the US president. This time, Moore came out and spoke his mind against George W Bush's handling of the relief operation to rescue Hurricane Katrina survivors in America's Deep South. Atter he had exposed Bush's actions in the aftermath of the September 11th terrorist attacks, Moore disapproves the President's behaviour in the wake of the biggest natural disaster to hit the US in years. Dear Mr Bush: Any idea where all our helicopters are? It's Day 5 of Hurricane Katrina and thousands remain stranded in New Orleans and need to be airlifted, Moore tells in a letter published on his website. Where on earth could you have misplaced all our military choppers? Do you need help finding them? Also, any idea where all our national guard soldiers are? We could really use them right now for the type of thing they signed up to do like helping with national disasters. How come they weren't there to begin with?I especially like how, the day after the hurricane, instead of flying to Louisiana, you flew to San Diego to party with your business peeps. Don't let people criticise you for this - after all, the hurricane was over and what the heck could you do, put your finger in the dike?, the film-maker asked. Meanwhile, important artists have gathered in an attempt to raise funds to help the victims of Katrina. Among the voices who attacked President Bush is rapper Kayne West, who spoke about the treatment of the black people in Louisiana.

No kidding, one of the only true statements here...

He might disapprove, but he never exposed anything! His 'documentary' is based entirely on a subjective premise, contradicting the very definition of 'documentary.'

As soon as Nicolas Cage, Kanye West and Xena, Warrior Princess become important, let me know. Otherwise, this comment alone was what made me leave my own comment.

If anyone is racist, it's him. He is extremely uneducated, and just because he has a microphone stuck in his face doesn't mean he is of any importance or wisdom, let alone relevance. It's people like him that should just plain be ignored.
For all of you that think Michael Moore is a hero, just know that I myself could write a 'documentary' blasting anyone with lies. He only has funding because he has individuals like you who will follow him like sheep. Freedom of speech is a wonderful thing, but there is no clause in the constitution stating "Freedom of fabrication." though he certainly would abuse it if it were there. |
