14 DAY TRIAL // Over the winter holidays, in between reportedly harassing his former girlfriend and trying to capitalize on his newfound fame thanks to his now-defunct friendship with Jon Gosselin, Michael Lohan got some new ink, as we also informed you. The world got to have a look at the new tattoo during a recent boxing event, Radar Online informs.
Strangely enough, at the same event, Kate Major, a former tabloid editor who dated Gosselin for a short while when he was still married to Kate Gosselin, was also present, which has re-ignited speculation that the two are dating. Mr. Lohan did not waste such a good photo opportunity and he flexed his muscles and showed off his recently-acquired tattoo. After all, he had a boxing match to promote.
As Radar puts it, Lindsay Lohan’s father and perhaps one of the most hated so-called celebrities of our times, if we’re to judge by people’s reaction to everything he does, will get up in the ring to fight an actor. Initially, he wanted Jon Gosselin as an opponent but, for obvious reasons, such as the exclusivity contract he has with TLC, his desire could not be fulfilled. Moreover, his new friend and presumed girlfriend Kate Major will act as referee.
“Not since Rocky Balboa has the City of Brotherly Love seen a boxer like this: Michael Lohan Wednesday announced he will fight aspiring actor Derek Macintosh (who?) during a press conference for Celebrity Boxing 16, scheduled for January 15 in Philadelphia. Lohan – who showed off an Ed Hardy-esque tattoo on his bicep during the festivities – failed in his prior bid to fight former reality TV dad Jon Gosselin, but the card features another character involved in the fiasco, Jon’s ex Kate Major, who will act as a referee,” Radar writes.
As we also told you only days ago, because of his seemingly very close friendship with Major, reports are making the rounds that the two are actually more than just friends as they claim. This, in turn, has prompted talk of Lohan taking Jon Gosselin’s “sloppy seconds,” a thing he firmly denied.
