After sparking outrage with his anti-Jewish comments, Michael Jackson does it again. This time, the famous pop star is said to have made an anti-Italian slur.
Jackson is reported to have left a voice message for former friend Dieter Wiesner in late 2002 or early 2003, slamming record mogul Tommy Mottola.
"I'm very concerned. I don't trust that man. He thinks he's God. He thinks he's Italian Mafia", Jackson is quoted by America's New York Post as saying.
Meanwhile, the singer had to apologize to America's Jewish community, as he was said to have called them "leeches".
During a telephone conversation aired by US TV network ABC this week, Jackson claimed that Jewish members of the music industry had conspired to wreck his career.
"They suck them [stars] like leeches. They start out the most popular person in the world, make a lot of money, big house, cars and everything and end up penniless. It's a conspiracy. The Jews do it on purpose", the singer said.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) demanded some apologies from the superstar.
According to ADL director Abraham H Foxman, "Michael Jackson has an anti-Semitic streak. It seems every time he has a problem in his life, he blames it on Jews."
Michael Jackson's attorney, Brian Oxman, defended the singer, insisting he has no such anti-Semitic views.
Meanwhile, Jackson has to deal with another problem, this time on a more personal level.
His ex-wife, Debbie Rowe claims that he is not the biological father of Prince Michael Jr. and Paris. The kids are said to have been conceived through artificial insemination. Rowe claims that, although the singer knows the truth, he still insists not to reveal the children the identity of their mother.
"Michael knows the truth - that he is not the natural father of Prince Michael Jr. and Paris. He has to come clean.
I have no information whatsoever about the identity of the semen donor for either child as such (semen) was obtained anonymously from a semen bank under an agreement of confidentiality",
Debbie told the Irish newspaper The Sunday World.
