Not only the public image of Michael Jackson has been deeply affected by the many trials he's been through during last years, but also his finances. He is in such a situation at the moment, that, in order to avoid bankruptcy, he has to sell some of the most valuable goods he possesses.
Being cautious in his own way, or maybe just lucky, in 1985, while being "top-of-the-top" in international charts, Michael acquired the Beatles catalog for 47,5$ million. A while after the acquisition, he's been through some financial problems and had to sell half of it to Sony. So, until now, he co-owned the catalog - Sony/ ATV Music Publishing LLC - including 200 of "The Beatles" songs.
The half-catalog's value reached at this moment the impressive sum of 1$ billion. Since "The King" is indebted up to his throat, the only possibility is to give Sony "value for nothing". Or at least for not being called back to court, this time in a debt trial!

The star made a declaration from Bahrain, were he retired immediately after he was acquitted of child-molesting charges, saying that, with the help of Sony Corp, he will surpass his financial problems. If he sells the catalog, we wonder what will be left of Michael. He has no more Neverland Ranch, since he hadn't paid the wages for months, no more star charisma, no more friends and, of course, no more money or goods. And if we also remember the multiple aesthetic surgeries he's been through, he no longer has even face or skin!
Is this going to be the end of the long and winding road Michael Jackson has been through?
