Few days after Michael Jackson was acquitted, his lawyers went to the courthouse to to demand the return of hundreds of items seized from Jackson Neverland Ranch.
Judge Rodney Melville decided, for now, to give back the passport, which he was forced to surrender to prevent any risk of him fleeing the country following his November 2003 arrest.
"I have no intention to keep anything sealed except something that might involve privacy matters of a juror," Judge Melville said.
Among hundred of things that were taken from Jackson's residence, there were some pornographic magazines with titles like Barely Legal that prosecutors had claimed Jackson used to "groom" his teen accuser into child abuse.
"Mr Jackson wants his stuff back," declared Sanger, one of the lawyers
"Anything that was seized from the property of a person should be returned. All the people from whom the items were seized should have their items returned to them. That's all we're asking for," he said.
