Michael Jackson, 46, returned last night to Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital for "routine treatment" of back spasms that have pained him throughout the four-month trial.
Jackson has complained of a back problem since early March, when he made a morning emergency room visit and raced back to court in his pajama bottoms when the judge threatened to have him arrested
Today the jury, formed by eight man and four women, who have spent 20 hours considering the charges against Jackson, was scheduled for only a half-day session today because at least one of them had to attend school graduation ceremonies. They still didn't reached a verdict.
The panel is required to deliberate until they reach verdicts on all 10 criminal counts against Jackson or become hopelessly deadlocked and are declared a hung jury by Superior Court Judge Rodney Melville, writes Daily Telegraph.
