A couple of weeks ago, rumor broke out that Michael Jackson was planning to make of “This Is It,” the series of live performances labeled as the greatest comeback in the history of music, an experience no fan could ever forget. In order to achieve this, he would also be pulling a few aces up his sleeve with illusion acts, sources were saying. Now, the King of Pop is working with David Copperfield to make a levitation illusion happen, The Sun says, via HollywoodRag.

Determined to not let the moment fly by, the singer has set on the remarkable and audacious task of making the tour starting this summer an event no one will ever be able to forget. A levitation illusion is also reportedly included in it, which will see Michael float above the stage and then land on a specific spot, as we have previously reported. To be able to do so, Michael has spoken with esteemed illusionist David Copperfield, and the two are already hard at work to see what can be done with Jackson’s idea.

“Michael and David have been close pals for years. Michael is a massive fan of magic and has been to see all the big illusionists in Vegas over the years. He has some very clear plans on what he wants the show to include and feels David is the man to help make them happen.” an unnamed, but reportedly well informed, source tells the aforementioned tab. Unfortunately, the spy could not reveal more details about the illusion itself but, from other reports circulating in the media right now, “This Is It” will certainly surprise all fans once it kicks off.

The same British tabloid also claims that Michael’s performance will also include a live elephant in the “jungle section,” also in a bid to make the comeback the most spectacular the music industry has ever witnessed. “It’s not just about music for Michael, it’s about the show. The levitation stunt will be something special. He hopes to make it the most spectacular show ever. For the jungle section, he wants to ride out on an African elephant with panthers led on gold chains. Parrots and other birds will fly behind him. If it goes to plan it will look incredible.” another spy tells the same publication.

Granted, none of these reports has been confirmed so far but, from what we can gather, Michael is pulling all the stops with this series of shows, which he says will be his last. Just the other day, other rumors had it that he was also considering bringing Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Timbaland as opening acts on some of the dates, just to keep the audiences interested and the wow factor at “acceptable” levels.
