Michael Jackson is reportedly putting his luxurious California mansion up for sale for £22 million, mainly because he owes £150 million in loans, according to femalefirst.co.uk
Apparently, some of his Neverland staff have quit their jobs, due to the late payments.
According to an employee quoted on America's Foxnews.com "Everyone is p****d. It was one thing when it happened during the trial but now it is a different story".
Jackson, who has been staying in Bahrain since his court case, is rumored to be leaving the US for good.
"Our jury services supervisor spoke with Jackson's attorney a couple of days ago and he notified her that Mr Jackson was in Bahrain and that he would be changing his permanent address to somewhere other than the ranch", a court spokesman told America's New York Post.
The superstar has already made a lot of friends and fans, the Los Angeles Times reported last week.
"He's living permanently in Bahrain. He has friends there who have been very loyal and helpful to him in a difficult period of his life," said his lead attorney Thomas Mesereau. "He's looking much better. He's with his children, and he's moving on in life."
Jackson purchased his famous 2,600 acre (eleven square-kilometers) Neverland Ranch in Santa Ynez, California, in 1988 for $17 million. The property is named after the magical kingdom Neverland from the children's story "Peter Pan".
Jackson, a huge Disney fan, has built an amusement park on the ranch, and used to welcome sick and poor children there to visit and sponsor charity drives for them.
Jackson's relationships with children, both his own and other's, have been controversial; his sleepover parties at Neverland have received widespread critical media coverage, especially after he has revealed that he sometimes slept in the same bed with several unrelated children.
